    I’ve never seen Idol either and don’t plan too. It’s because the show seems to have to cater to the judge’s egos and treats it as if they are the main reason you are watching the show, rather than for the amateur competitors. I’m afraid the judges at least appear to believe that themselves (except for Ellen) and yes, their egos are on full display.

    With Dancing, I don’t feel like I am being ‘force fed’ the judges and they are really out to do just that, judge the competition. I have to admit, however, that getting rid of Paula Abdul and adding Ellen as a judge was a good move on Idol, but I still can’t get past the other two egos
