“I’m excited to get back and play, I’m excited to get to see the guys again,” Woods told ESPN. “I really miss a lot of my friends out there. I miss competing. But I still have a lot more treatment to do.”

I am not so sure you can have it both ways, Tiger. But I may be wrong. Seems to me that part of that “treatment” demands that you put golf aside for quite a bit longer, like you led us to believe you were going to do at first. He may have gotten some advice from professional therapy folk that told him otherwise, though.

Anyway, then there is also the appearance that this gives too and makes him look a bit insincere since he appears to be rushing things some. So he should be worried about fan reaction since many are suspicious of his rush to return to golf as it relates to his quest to ‘get better’. So yeah, maybe that is why he is really worried because of the appearance it gives, even if he really is serious about ‘getting better’. Sometimes you can’t have it both ways, Tiger. Sit out longer, and then maybe more of us would believe you really want to get better.
